The purpose with this design was to make an ocean and underwater feel to the layout, therefore the use of photo became extremely important.

The Miami Bay Aquarium design is a demo layout made to illustrate different techniques in web design and most importantly, the effect of implementing good and heavy photography to a web site combined with a lighter css code for the use of smaller effects such as roll over menus etc. In a design like this one, image is everything and the layout builds off from there.
